About BNI Ampang
We are a coalition of business people under the umbrella organization, Business Network Int'l (www.bni.com) where we meet for the purpose of exchanging qualified business referrals among each other.

Within the environment of BNI’s Givers Gain motto, each of us strives to refer new business to our colleagues in the BNI Ampang Chapter.

How we do this
We each carry a business card holder consisting the business cards of our colleagues and by engaging active listening in conversations of our contacts, clients, regular customers, families and friends, we actively position the products and solutions of our fellow members in the Chapter to meet a need that our contact may have, or to solve a problem that they are facing.

It is that simple!

An example
Whenever someone mentions such things like: ‘I don’t know’ or ‘I am confused’ or even ‘I wish I can do better’, is an opportunity to refer business

Simply by listening, a friend over a cup of tea might say that she is not happy with the terms of her housing loan.

Or, a sibling of yours is not sure how to submit his tax returns form.
Or, a neighbour is moving.
Or, a class-mate is getting married, or had a new born baby.
Or, an ex-colleague is starting a new business.

Within the environment of BNI, this is an opportunity to refer business by offering the products and services of fellow Chapter members to the person in need, and then asking the person if your Chapter member can contact them by telephone.

This is now a qualified Referral!
